About the Event
The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History, Wayne State University (WSU), with the co-sponsorship of Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum, is busy making plans to host the upcoming SculptureX Symposium, which will take place at WSU on October 13-14, 2017.
The symposium will feature two keynote speakers(John Douglas Powers and Tom Williams); panel presentations; professional development, speaking, and exhibition opportunities for sculpture and extended media students; symposium-related exhibitions which will take place on and off campus; and networking opportunities for students, faculty, and artists.
