In this multifaceted exhibition, Edra Soto invites us to celebrate the experience of finding and creating home. Channeling her own migratory experience, Soto weaves together personal and collective stories of migration and honors the deep and growing roots of Cleveland’s Latinx community.

The popular proverb, “home is where the heart is,“ is frequently used to express the sentiment that home is so much more than a physical location. Shown alongside Edra Soto’s exhibition La Casa de Todos | Everyone’s Home, La Casa Compartida showcases a group of eleven artists and creatives from the Cleveland community who have known both the joy and the pain of migration. This exhibition reflects on personal identity and familial and chosen relationships within the household, featuring the faces of those who become witnesses to our lives and in turn, bring life to the places we hold dear to our hearts.
