Douglas Max Utter’s CAN review of Keith Lemley’s exhibition here.
Lemley says, “Always interested in scientific research connecting disparate parts of the universe through underlying geometry, I create angular neon installations that unify spaces through light, color, and line. More captivating than the actual geometric theories is the process of experimentation and discovery shared by scientists and artists alike.”
Keith Lemley, now living in Kent, OH, holds a BFA from The Pennsylvania State University and a MA and MFA in sculpture from University of Wisconsin. He has received grants from the Iowa Arts Council, among others, and attended residencies at 55 Limited, Berlin, Germany, and Sculpture Space, Utica, NY. Keith has exhibited his sculpture in sole and two-person exhibitions across the Midwest and at Mixed Greens gallery, New York, NY, Edinburgh, UK, and Berlin, Germany, as well as in numerous group exhibitions.
