Come celebrate the exhibition openings of Jacklyn Brickman, Noelle Choy, and Malena Grigoli in the galleries and meet the artists. Each artist will give a brief talk about their work.
At 6:45 PM, join Jacklyn Brickman for a participatory sensory engagement. The audience is invited to a living exchange of touching plants relocated from East 123rd Street, and to experience real-time biofeedback soundscapes and video projections generated by their contact. The opening reception offers an opportunity to engage firsthand with the installation’s central provocations: which lives and forms of growth are deemed worthy of care, and by whom.
Join us for an evening of contemplation, conversation, and connection amid plants, stone, and mediated technology.
