The Sculpture Center and the commercial Cleveland gallery 2731 Prospect enthusiastically announce the Cleveland Sculptors Network/Getting There from Here, a new venture to increase the reach and connectivity of sculptors of Northeast Ohio and our greater region. We are hosting a series of free, open to the public evening panel discussions at Happy Dog East, followed by a social gathering, and a private Master Review & Collective Discussion the next day. The panelists will be an invited mid-career sculptor from outside our region and one or two regional sculptors exhibiting at 2731 Prospect or at The Sculpture Center as part of its annual Window to Sculpture Emerging Artist series (W2S).
The first panel, Take Form: A Sculptors Panel, is on Nov. 4 at the Happy Dog East. Panelists include Nathalie Miebach, Kate Budd, and Elizabeth Emery with Isabel Farnsworth as moderator.
Applications are closed to be one of five sculptors of The Sculpture Center’s region selected by Nathalie Miebach for the Master Review & Collective Discussion on Saturday, November 5 @ 10-noon at The Sculpture Center or 2731 Prospect (location to be announced later).
Application information here.
Call closes Sunday, October 2 @ midnight.
This initiative is partially funded by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
